RCWE is the passion of Canadian Certified Wedding Planner, Janet Benson. Janet has completed many levels of education and training in Business, Marketing, Wedding and Event Planning through BCIT, and received her Certification from the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada at UBC in 2005.

Janet’s most practical experience in coordination has come from being the “mother-of-the bride” five times: She has married off one daughter, one son and three step-daughters since 2002... and in 2010 she was married herself!  The experience of being on the other side of the process has given her a deep respect and appreciation for the families and their roles and expectations. As a fourth generation Royal City resident, Janet has a genuine appreciation for New Westminster, Burnaby and the surrounding areas.
