Here’s an incomplete inventory of our kit:


KEEPING UP APPEARANCES

  • lint brush
  • Static Guard
  • breath spray
  • breath mints
  • individually wrapped drinking straws (don’t want to smudge those perfect lips)
  • spot remover pen
  • Visine (takes the red out of pimples, too)
  • Q-tips
  • cotton pads
  • make-up remover (good for softening tanning spray mishaps)
  • nail glue/repair kit
  • eyelash glue
  • manicure Kit: tweezers, clippers, and nail file
  • Clear nail polish (runs in stockings, posts of earrings…)
  • extra earring backs
  • small mirror
  • one-time use wash cloths
  • pantyhose 
  • bobby pins
  • hair spray
  • small blow dryer (dries clothes, too)
  • butane curling iron
  • travel iron/steamer

  • sandpaper (if he slips, he may take you down with him!)

WE BORROWED OUR MOTTO FROM THE BOY SCOUTS

  • First Aid kit
  • safety pins (black, white and silver)
  • sewing kit (already threaded needles with appropriate colours)
  • scissors
  • double sided tape (fallen hems)
  • white chalk (can cover all sorts of marks on the dress)
  • florist tape and wire (OMG! We’re one corsage short!)
  • Unity candles (three white candles and candle holders)
  • wire cutters
  • corsage pins
  • club soda (red wine spills)
  • high energy non-messy snacks (it’ll be a long day – you need your energy)
  • hand wipes/napkins
  • cotton gloves (for anyone touching your dress!)
  • disposable camera

  • blank place cards & table numbers
  • black calligraphy pen
  • ‘AA’ and ‘AAA’ batteries
  • rolls of 35mm film (usually for a Grandmother or an Aunt)

  • something borrowed (...best to ask a happily married friend or family member)

SPECIFIC TO YOUR WEDDING

“The Clipboard” with the following lists:

  • names and contact numbers of ALL participants
  • all vendor and venue information
  • copy of the schedule
  • copy of the timeline with responsibilities
  • program
  • back-up copies of vows, speeches… anything you’ll give us
  • maps (several small copies to hand out)


WHAT’S IN THE BAG?  

The Planner’s fanny pack:

  • charged cell phone with bluetooth
  • digital camera with empty card and extra battery
  • payments to Vendors
  • note paper and pencil
  • other valuables you’d like me to carry
  • spare set of rings (yes, real wedding bands)


AN OUNCE OF PREVENTION 

We’d be happy to be responsible for:

  • table numbers and place cards
  • Bride’s make-up bag

Not all items are required for all Weddings.  Kits are customized for each occasion.
